DVDVideo Media Free MP3 Cutter Joiner Review

This software doesn’t have advanced tools like noise removal and profiling, and you cannot edit audio channels separately. However, we were impressed by the fact that this software is easy to use even for those who have never edited audio before. All aspects, including merging files, clipping audio, and adjusting volume are all controlled through simple sliders and buttons. Better yet, this tool doesn’t have complex settings and menus to confuse a new user.

  • MP3 Cutter Function
One of the main attributes of this software is the MP3 cutter function which comes in handy when you’re working with audio files. With this feature, you can easily cut pieces of large audio files and then convert them into MP3 format. Also, if you want to remove some unwanted bits from your audio track, the cutter function lets you select a start and end point so that you can get rid of the unwanted parts. You will receive an audio output of the clip time you selected.
  • MP3 Joiner
Besides cutting your MP3 files, this tool also comes with a joiner function that helps when you need to handle multiple files. With this feature, you can join sections of trimmed audio with high precision and without compromising the quality of your clips. To use this function, you need to upload multiple files and set the beginning time and ending time for each.
And if you want to create one big file from several short clips, this feature lets you achieve that. This feature does audio joining with great perfection and you won’t even notice the point of transition from one audio to the other.
  • Pre-Listening
This tool’s pre-listening feature is an attribute we were particularly impressed with. A majority of audio editing tools do not allow for pre-listening. With this feature, you can play your cut or merged files to determine whether the output is what you expected. And if the audio is still not to your liking, you can edit your audio until you’re satisfied with the results.
With this feature, you don’t have to worry about getting the wrong output because you have the chance to listen to your cut or merged files before saving the final file.

User Experience

Unlike many other free audio editing tools, Free Media Cutter Joiner is not a cut-down version of any premium software, so you will never have to worry about ads prompting you to upgrade in order to access better features. From our experience, this tool is a pleasure to use. When you open an audio file, its waveform is displayed as a single or double channel depending on whether it’s on mono or stereo.
To cut an audio file, you simply click the location of the waveform where you’d like it to begin, set the “Start Point” and click where you’d like the audio to end and set your “End Point.” You will have your clip time displayed and can press the start button to begin.
The tool’s interface is simple and not filled with many unnecessary buttons and menus. We were particularly impressed by the fact that we could easily maneuver through all aspects of the software in a few minutes. Better yet, there was no need for a tutorial or guide because everything was pretty much straightforward.
With this audio editing software, there’s no chance that you’ll have a bad user experience because the design and interface are too simple and too good for those who are editing audio for the first time.

  1. Hi Himanshu
I pretend to join several mp3 files with the same bit rate, channels – I mean: all equally encoded by lame.exe.
But I’m afraid of loosing quality by a new enconding.
Does Mp3cutterjoiner requires reencoding under these very circumstances?
I will appreciate your welcoming answer
